Prof. Reha Tandogan

Prof. Tandogan is currently the Chair of Dept. of Orthopedics & Traumatology, Halic University, Istanbul and a senior member of Cankaya Orthopedics, Ankara, a 14 surgeon group specializing in arthroscopic surgery and arthroplasty. His main areas of focus are sports traumatology, joint preservation surgery, reconstructive surgery of the knee, shoulder, ankle and robotic arthroplasty.

Dr. Tandogan is currently holding the following positions : Chairman of EKA (European Knee Associates) section of ESSKA (European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy); Associate Editor, Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy Journal; National delegate of Turkey for EFORT (European Federation of National Associations of Orthopedics & Traumatology).

He is the former President of the Turkish Society of Sports Traumatology and former president of Turkish Society for Hip Preservation.

He is the author of 1 English language and 11 Turkish books on Knee Surgery & Sports Traumatology.

He has lectured extensively and published 80 scientific articles in international journals and 75 articles in the Turkish literature. Over 2700 international citations have been made to these papers (h-index 26).
